Calling all journalists in Benin, Ghana, Nigeria, and Togo! The Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA) is offering Story Production Grants to support in-depth, impactful reporting on Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) and Digital Public Goods and Services (DPGs). This initiative is part of the second phase of the DPI Journalism Fellowship, designed to empower journalists to elevate public awareness, spark policy debates, and drive action on critical digital issues.
Whether you’re a current DPI Fellow, an alumnus, or a journalist passionate about digital transformation, this is your chance to produce stories that matter. Successful applicants will receive up to USD 300 per story, along with editorial support from the DPI Journalism Fellowship team. Stories can cover a wide range of topics, from data protection and cybersecurity to financial inclusion and mobile money systems.
