The Citizen Entrepreneurship Competition (CEC) invites aspiring entrepreneurs from around the globe to participate in a unique opportunity to drive social change. Running from June 1 to August 31, 2024, this competition empowers young innovators to submit their ideas and projects aimed at addressing the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The CEC is structured in three engaging phases. In the first phase, participants pitch their ideas or projects. Successful entries then advance to complete courses and develop their Entrepreneurial Design Canvas (EDC). In phase two, completed EDCs are published for public voting, allowing participants to gain support from a global community. The top ten submissions with the most votes proceed to the final phase, where an expert jury selects the winners, who are celebrated in an online award ceremony.

Since its inception in 2014, the CEC has grown into a vibrant community of entrepreneurs from 141 countries. This platform not only fosters innovative thinking but also encourages global networking and collaboration among participants.
